This Toolkit builds on previous CDC Toolkits and reflects recent evolution of international ESG standards and good practices. CDC intends to update it on a regular basis as CDC becomes aware of new guidance, good practice and other materials and standards that are relevant to effective ESG management in emerging markets (though without obligation on CDC to carry out such updates).
While the information and data included in this Toolkit derive from sources that CDC considers to be appropriate and correct, CDC does not make any warranty or representation as to the accuracy or completeness of such information.
The information and guidance provided in the Toolkit aim to increase the confidence with which GPs and others can assess and manage ESG aspects of their investments. Such persons must, however, make their own independent decisions concerning investments and their ESG aspects. CDC accepts no responsibility for decisions made as a result of the use of the Toolkit.
